After I posted the entry on “how to make your own runes”  I went down to the creek behind my house and collected stones.  I had a lovely time searching for them.  I found 24 regular  sized white stones that are now the rune set pictured above.  :-)  I also collected 24 small pebbles of varying shapes and colours for a travel set I intend to make.  After collecting the stones I made sure to leave an offering and thank the creek. It was a very easy yet satisfying project.
